Lots of YES in the beginning, lots of NO in the end...
Will blame sickness and DH travel, but also have not done as much as I could have done. Not sure yet how I will report...

2 Feb 2019 06:13 PM

I have been really sick for over a week so I did not accomplish nearly as much as I wanted, but I will run through the list of everything I put up in this commitment with Yes/No - did I reach the goal.
Also, DH has been traveling more than expected/planned and that has been tough and it has taken a lot of time and energy to deal with the kids. This will continue for a while, but not too long I hope.
* YES: take care of Christmas tree and decorations
* YES: meal planning – it went fairly well when I wasn’t sick
* NO: Go to the indoor pool at least once, then give away the pass as it expires
* NO: Work – I am really behind all over, even before I got sick. So fed up with work
* YES: Send hat to Mags – but I never heard back, want to check if I remember
* YES: Buy swim pants for the kids, at least one pair and preferably not too expensive
* YES: Write a packing list for me and the kids. Make sure stuff is available and clean.
* YES: Check shoes and shorts for kids.
* YES: Sort out email before I leave. It wasn’t perfect, but good enough. But still a lot to do.
* YES: Run cleaning program for oven
* YES, but sure took longer than expected: finances and communication for DS2 soccer team
* YES: Get current on family finances.
* YES: Get books to library. I got a small fee but good enough.
* YES: Unpack (took some time and not perfect)
* YES: Laundry after trip
* YES, planning has worked out pretty well: Plan the coming week (food, clothes, drop off/pick up, evenings)
* YES, until I got sick: Plan rest of January
* YES, with DH: Pack away all Christmas things
* YES: Inform DH on family finances for the month.
* YES: Create 2018 yearly financial results and start creating a 2019 budget. Budget for 2019 done but not talked w/DH yet.
* YES, finally, feels great: DS2 soccer team finances up to date and sent for yearly review. Also did a budget and sent off.
* YES, very pleased: Get a new credit card – URGENT. Now to close the old one in Feb.
* YES, until I got sick: Plan the rest of the weeks for drop-offs, pick-ups and dinners. Plus activities and possible nanny pick-up.
* NO, not really, did have to improvise every day I worked in the office: Plan work clothes for the month.
* YES: Reschedule dentist
* YES: Set target for student loan 2019 and rework the Excel file
* NO, not enough yet: Clear out a lot of old emails.
* NO: Clear out the basement again and continue working on the storage room. Create a separate goal for this, split into several tasks.
* YES, all now: Return books.
* NO: Get a bag of stuff ready for GV.
* NO, nothing: Set up goals for sleep, clean teeth, weight and exercise (incl yoga)
* NO, not perfect: Redesign weekdays: get up in the morning, preparing work days incl food & clothes before.
* NO, not as desired: Clean out the kids room.
* NO, started but need to do more: Find out more about an optician and an audiologist, possibly book appointments for glasses & hearing aids.
* NO, bc I got sick: Become a better mom, playdates etc – set a goal for this.
* NO – URGENT in Feb: Work on the insurance claim – separate goal for this, break down to smaller tasks.
* NO, not really yet, could do more: Do some more money planning and food planning. Shift investments.
* NO: Order seeds.
* NO, got sick. Use brain more – how? Italian. Think and plan this.
* NO, but really want to: Sort out and possibly buy clothes. Get rid of and replace broken clothes.
* NO, but was close: Clean all old laundry.
* NO, nothing at all: Sew more, start with going through all old mending – mend or toss!
* NO, nothing yet: Plan the year, the spring half and the quarter.
* NO, and possibly rethinking: Doctor's appointment for DS2, write down all symptoms first.
* YES, did well, even though not always planned Pack lunches, have a plan for that.
* NO, a lot since I have been sick: Less time on phone.
* NO, not the energy for that: Review apps and uninstall.
* NO, not enough, am on 57: Write on MMM – get to 65 posts (now 52)
* NO, not much at all: Use & update Trello
* YES: preparing home for having guests on a Saturday.

22 Jan 2019 08:53 AM

I am sick again... So tired last night. I did go to bed early, which was really good. And I hope this just last a couple of days, seems just like a regular cold, but we'll see.

The only progress:
* I have rescheduled the dentist
* Got another load of laundry done. Another big one tonight and then I think I will do the final specials.

21 Jan 2019 09:03 AM

DH is now away until Wed evening. Focus until he is back:
* Reschedule dentist
* DS2 soccer finance (urgent!) - finish and send
* Keep up with chores: laundry (empty out this week!), pack away all summer clothing
* Plan work clothes
* Iron some more
* Order seeds – at least start the list
* DuoLingo routine in the evening
* I would love to empty out my wardrobe but not sure if this will happen, depends on energy and kids

* Some laundry
* Some ironing

17 Jan 2019 08:15 AM

This morning we realised that we have guests in two day, and the house is a mess... So we have two evenings to sort this out. Focus will be on surface; i.e.:
* packing away all clean laundry and all other clothes
* packing away the Chrismas decorations finally
* Clean the kitchen
* Clean the bathrooms
* Tidy the kids room

Ok so focus on five things, starting tonight. Should be ok

15 Jan 2019 10:11 AM

Another tough night w/kids and DH was away (back tonight), so not a lot accomplished and not a lot of sleep... Some things I did anyway:
* Two loads of laundry taken care of so caught up with that, but almost no folding done.
* This week is now planned (except for weekend), also most of next week
* Have done some 2018/budget 2019 finances but not complete
* Student loan 2019 file & target complete
* Books returned, but recived notification that I have to return two more in two day, so... not completed

Update end of day - it has been an intense day, with pretty low energy, I am tired since yesterday, and putting kids to bed have been really tough. So not all done, but it will just get moved to coming days.

Today:

* Yes, at least start of week, which is enough: Plan the coming week (food, clothes, drop off/pick up, evenings)
* Sort of but not all done yet: Plan rest of January
* No progress: Pack away all Christmas things
If enough time and energy:
* Yes: Inform DH on family finances for the month.
* No progress: Create 2018 yearly financial results and start creating a 2019 budget.
* Not finished yet, but some done: DS2 soccer team finances up to date and sent for yearly review.
